I am writing to you to tell you how pleased I am with the results I've had by taking Aloe Elite. 26 years ago I was diagnosed. It's been a real rollercoaster ride. I have been hospitalized twice with the doctors at one time telling me the only cure for me was to have my colon removed. Glad I didn't follow their advice! I have taken prednizone, lomotil, prednizone, sulpha drugs, and asacol. Sometimes it would go into remission for a couple years, but when it came back it would be worse than the time before. At one time I was taking 20 pills a day just to get it under control. Over the years, I became allergic to sulpha drugs and then started taking asacol. The doctor told me that I would never get off the medicine; I was to take it full strength for the rest of my life.
After three years of taking asacol I began developing the side-effects listed for this medication...mucus, cramping, and bloody diarrhea, etc. Seems weird that the side effects are the same thing as what I was trying to get control of. The more I kept taking the medicine the worse my symptoms became. I was losing weight, chilled all the time and had no energy.
