Crohn's Disease

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 22.  I am now 28 and have lived symptom free for the majority of this time thanks to your fantastic product.  I take what I believe to be a fairly enlightened approach to health and avoid prescriptive medication if at all possible.   

When my condition was first diagnosed, I was treated in the normal way with steroid and anti-inflammatory drugs.  These exacerbated the very symptoms I sought to control and created a whole host of unwanted side effects.  They did not make me better, only progressively worse over time.  The condition became so bad at one point, I was eating liquidised food only, became extremely thin and my quality of life was so poor that the future seemed very bleak.  I was absolutely desperate to find something that would alleviate the daily symptoms and give me my life back.  This was when I took matters into my own hands and began looking for my own cure.  I stumbled on AloeElite and was really hopeful after reading the testimonials that this could be the answer to my health problems.  It was.  I have never looked back and I have certainly never accepted the drugs and their terrifying side effects.

However, I have a story more powerful than this to endorse this product for anyone who might be reading and suffering with the same condition.

So that the following account makes sense, I need to explain that the severity of Crohn's disease and indeed the presence of the condition itself, is determined by what they call an "inflammatory marker" (CPR) in the blood.  In a normal person, this should range between 1 and 10.  In Crohn's sufferers it isn't unheard of for it to be in the hundreds.  I was recently taken into hospital suffering with food poisoning which had wreaked havoc on my digestive system.  I had presented in A & E with a CPR of 27 which is a little high but even so, very good for someone with my condition.  To put this into perspective, when it had first been diagnosed, it was in the 60's.  I was told by medical staff initially that I had appendicitis.  I did not.  Terrfiyingly, I had had such a bad reaction to the drugs that had been administered to deal with the symptoms of the food poisoning that my CPR had risen to 300 over that first night I spent in hospital. 

As a result, the specialists were called in and I was sent for a number of scans and x-rays all of which showed severe inflammation and ulceration of the intestines and pockets of fluid that had formed around my liver and under my intestines which of course I was told was as a result of a flare up of my Crohn's.  Please note that at this point, I wasn't allowed food or water so I certainly wasn't taking my regular dose of AloeElite.  I was more scared than I've ever been about the state of my health and was terrifed into thinking the only way out was to accept more of the drugs that they had convinced me would save my life.

Two days later, feeling more ill than when I was taken to hospital initially, I discharged myself from this hospital.  That is how much I believed in this product to get me back on track.  The daily worsening abdominal pain was enough for me to know that the drugs were doing more harm than good.  As soon as I arrived at home, I started on a dose of 24 capsules a day to begin to get the inflammation under control.  I went to see my GP the next day and I told him what I'd done.  Knowing me, he was not surprised at all.  He knows I have always managed my condition without medical intervention.  I asked that he give me some time to fix my body my way and that we take regular blood tests to monitor my CPR.

You can't imagine how pleased I was when the results of the first blood test came back.  This test was taken three days after I'd discharged myself from hospital, so three days of taking three lots of eight capsules a day.  My CPR was 11, practically normal.  My GP said this was too good to be true and said it would most likely settle somewhere up in the 60's again.  We repeated it a week later.  My CPR was 4.  THIS is a perfectly normal result.

Don't tell me you can't cure Crohn's.  AloeElite can and will.  I urge you to try this.  On a dose of only four capsules in the morning and four at night I can now do what I want, eat what I want and live my life to the full.

At one point they wanted to do surgery to remove a section of my colon which I declined. Recently I had the start of another Crohn's flare up where I had rectal bleeding and inflammation in my colon. I could not bear to go through another high dose of prednisone, so I opted to try AloeElite. The results were amazing as the rectal bleeding stopped within 2 weeks and my Crohn's disease went back in remission without taking the prenisone. It has now been 5 months and while continuing my maintenance dose of Al. I have never felt better.

I have Crohn's Disease and for the last 4 years since I was diagnosed, my life has been a complete roller coaster of taking medication after medication trying to achieve a normal life. At age 55, I began to experience symptoms: nausea and vomiting, stomach pain, bloating, a half dozen swollen leg tissue spots the size of silver dollars, swollen ankles, discolored toes, fatigue, abnormal elimination, insomnia, loss of appetite, and the inability to eat many foods. A glass of cold water would hurt my stomach. My ankles ached so much that I took Advil just to get out of bed and walk. That first month, August 2002, I lost 10 pounds and in September I lost another 5. I was slim to begin with but now at 5’9” and 120 pounds, I looked gaunt.

After weeks of testing with multiple specialists, I was informed that I was suffering from a moderately severe case of Crohn’s – and other related problems. Being a non-smoker, non-junk food, no operations (still have my tonsils!), balanced diet with vitamin pills, regular exercise person, I did not expect to be so sick so young. But here I was, taking Asacol, Prednisone, and Pentasa to help me function.

My drug regime failed me. I was still half sick and now experienced side effects – joint pain and weakness. So the doctor increased the Asacol 400mg/each from 9 pills per day to 12 pills per day. When that didn’t help, I want up to 16 pills per day. I remained half sick. I suffered like this for 5 months, planning everything I did around bathroom breaks and boxes of crackers. I continued to be uncomfortable and got out of bed 4-5 times each night. My intestines were so swollen that any pressure on them, even my hand, would hurt. I was cutting away the stomach area on my nylons because the pressure was uncomfortable! I could barely perform at work, had no strength to do house work, and was no longer cooking or eating well.

My breaking point came at Christmas 2002 with a house full of relatives; My son was home visiting for 2 weeks and I as sick every day. My health continued to decline. I told my husband that I had no quality of life and that I had no intention of ruining his future. I told my employer that I could no longer function, apologized profusely, and walked of the job without notice. I began to sort through my belongings, tossing old letters and taking a load of things to Goodwill so that no one else would have to do the same.

My husband searched the Internet for alternatives, found AloeElite, and placed an order for “A.M.P.”. I carefully followed all the instructions and noticed improvements in 5 days. I weaned myself off all other medications and continued to feel better.

All but one of my symptoms disappeared and the one left to conquer is minor. I resumed work and I am once again living a normal healthy life. I regained 10 pounds and my energy level and zest for life returned. At this point, I could probably qualify for the A.M.P. maintenance program. But I feel so normal that I must admit I am slipping on the diet. I still avoid spicy, deep-fried, most heavy sweets, or any foods that may cause problems. But I just can’t seem to resist key lime pie, corn on the cob, a glass of burgundy with dinner, a beautiful salad, and fruit with the skin on. Well,
you get the picture. I am really enjoying life again.

I have always been a conservative, following the rules, not taking chances especially with medications. This is the first time that I am not following the doctor’s orders. It’s sad that many of our healthcare professionals do not recommend “A.M.P.” because I realize that so many other people are still needlessly suffering as severely as I once did. I urge others to take a chance on regaining health beyond their expectations. And I urge others to save their money. My prescription costs were considerably higher.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t pass up this opportunity to regain your health. I never imagined that I could feel so much better in such a short time.

My 11 year old daughter Miriam was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in May '08. It has been a terrible roller coaster ride with ups and downs, including two hospital admissions with the high dosages of prednisolone, missing 2 solid months of school this past Fall due to her illness, being "fired" by one pediatric gastroenterologist when we refused medication, Asacol, that we discovered she had developed a food sensitivity to...We tried several alternative medicines, as well, going to accupuncturists for several weeks/months, nutritionists, a host of nutritional supplements. Her regimen for several weeks took her a solid hour to consume twice a day ( she was on so many supplements). She suffered so much and my husband and I worried so much. My life was consumed by her illness and I immersed myself in researching everything I could on her illness, both traditional and alternative. We tried the Leap food sensitivity diet and Specific Carb for a while. I believe that they can help some people, but they did not work for Miriam.

Nothing worked until recently...

We located another pediatric gasterenterologist who has prescribed prednisolone and Azathioprin.She will be off the Prednisolone in another 2 weeks. She needed the drugs to bring down her inflammation. BUT at the same time that we did this we started her on Aloe Elite and another Aloe product. Based on some research I liked qualities that both offered. The aloe elite has different lengths of chains, which seem to have different healing properties that are beneficial,so I have included their product in her healing regimen. I must say that the customer service at Aloe Elite was extremely helpful as well. I spoke for a good hour to the spokesperson advertised on their site and she offered me the hope and comfort I needed when I was feeling very scared and desperate...I also found the testimonials to be very encouaging and promised myself that if Miriam ever got better I would add my own testimonial in hopes that it may help someone else as a way to pay back for the encouragement I received.

Miriam did not improve immediately, in fact , she was hospitalized shortly after starting Aloe, but she was very, very sick at that time. She had lost a lot of weight from the Crohn's disease and the crazy diets we had her on...and was just very ill from the Crohn's.

At this time,Miriam continues her two Aloes, day and night, takes a probiotic daily and nystatin for a diagnosed candidas overgrowth. She continues the Azathioprin and Prednisolone( to be dc shortly).She also receives monthly NMT treatments. We found a great MD's office who practices homeopathic and alternative medicine, who is middle of the road. Their office did stool testing which discovered the candidas overgrowth and bacterial flora imbalance. After 3.5 months on this regimen, Miriam is symptom free and beginning to have more normal looking stools, instead of the mucous that she had for so long. She is finally sleeping through the night without waking up with pain and urgency to use the bathroom. She is starting to have lots of energy and is acting like a normal preteen, going to the movies with friends and joining her school's volleyball team. I attribute the Aloe as an important healing piece of the puzzle for her. She did not respond immediately, but she did respond to this combination. I really do believe in Aloe's healing powers and would recommend others trying it.

My other daughter, a dancer, 14, in high school, was diagnosed with IBS this past Fall, also candidas overgrowth, negative for Crohn's, thank G-d. She was having terrible stomach pains, bloating...We put her on a probiotic, Nystatin and Aloe and she is very much improved..She is only being followed by the alternative medicine doctor's office, because her pediatrician really had nothing to offer us, when she was diagnosed with IBS. And, I really wanted to avoid any heavy duty drugs if we could for her..After only a couple months on this regimen, she is almost symptom free.

I know this is long, but I am hoping my story will help someone else to not give up and keep trying. I plan to continue the Aloe for both of my daughters. I feel it is safe and healing for them and for some reason, they both are inclined to have stomache issues. I also have tried changing their diets, to less processed food,more proteins and vegetables, less sugar, but with pre-teens and teenage children it is hard to have them follow a strict diet, so I feel the Aloe and probiotic provides some insurance for them. I just pray that they both continue to remain healthy. Thanks to Aloe elite for their support during my time of need and for their product.
